Who We Are

Geoff McBreen
Founder & CEO
My name is Geoff McBreen, and I am the founder of Heroes’ Turn Foundation. After 17 years in the insurance industry, I finally made the decision to leave my career and pursue a dream of mine: to serve the Heroes who selflessly serve us. I took a leap of faith and trusted God to catch me, and now, Heroes' Turn Foundation has come to life, and I could not be more excited.
Although I never served in the armed forces myself, a regret I have carried, I have always deeply admired those who do, including law enforcement officers and first responders. Meeting service members and veterans often moved me emotionally over the years, and I found myself quietly picking up their bar tabs or restaurant bills whenever I could. Still, I knew that wasn’t enough.
Founding Heroes’ Turn Foundation has given me a meaningful way to serve these incredible men and women and to express my gratitude in a way that goes beyond a handshake and a simple “thank you for your service.” These Heroes perform their dangerous jobs with extraordinary courage and bravery, and their families make daily sacrifices to support them. It is truly an honor to have their backs since they always have ours.

When my husband, Geoff, had the idea for this foundation years ago, I knew it was the start of something very special. With the wheels already turning in his wonderful mind, I couldn't wait to see where this idea would take him. And here we are, years later—his dream a reality—and me lucky enough to be part of it. With my background in website design and writing, I'm happy to contribute my skills to the tech side of our organization. I'm so proud of this foundation and the work we are doing for the Heroes of this country.

I am a combat veteran, law enforcement officer, and Tennessee Army National Guard Soldier from Buffalo Valley, Tennessee. I joined the United States Army at age 17 and served on Active Duty before transitioning to the Tennessee Army National Guard, where I continue to serve today.
I first became involved with Heroes’ Turn Foundation after meeting founder Geoff McBreen and learning about his vision to support veterans, service members, first responders, and their families. Geoff’s passion for serving others and his willingness to leave a successful career to pursue that mission inspired me to get involved. That connection became personal when I received deployment orders on short notice and experienced firsthand the support provided by Heroes’ Turn Foundation.
As both a recipient of the foundation’s support and a lifelong public servant, I am honored to serve alongside Geoff and the foundation. I am passionate about giving back, strengthening the community of heroes who serve others, and helping ensure that no veteran, service member, first responder, or family faces life’s challenges alone. Guided by my faith in God and commitment to service, I believe in paying forward the support that has been shown to me and my family.

I met Geoff while I was performing a home inspection to provide a termite clearance letter for the sale of his home. I work as a service advisor for a growing pest control company, but my passion is people.
I spoke with Geoff during this inspection. He talked to me about his faith walk, his dream, and his courage to leave a successful career behind to pursue his dream of giving back. A week or two after we had met, and had spoken on the phone a few times, he asked me if I would be interested in joining his team. I was surprised at his request initially, but took some time to pray and deliberate on the decision.
During that time, HTF was heavy on my heart daily, and I found myself trying to put things in place, and make valuable connections for Geoff and HTF. That was when it was clear to me that God had put a calling on my heart to do what I can to make a difference during this season of my life. I have the deepest respect, and appreciation for our veterans, active duty, and first responders and I pray that my involvement in HTF can create a positive impact in the life of even a single hero.

I'm in Law Enforcement and when Geoff told me about Heroes' Turn Foundation, I knew immediately that I wanted to volunteer. I am proud to be part of the HTF team and this great cause which I believe in 100%.
